Ever since we were young, Masaki Aiba and I have been really good friends. His parents were friends with mine ever since god-knows-when, and having lived in one of those neighborhoods where nobody ever leaves, we basically grew up together. I don't know if it's still okay to say this now that we're this age, but I could genuinely call him my best friend.
Now that we're in college, we moved out of the neighborhood and live together in one flat. Our parents agreed to having us live together since one, it would cut down expenses, and two, they said we could "watch over each other", which we actually do. I'd help him with his lessons and projects when needed, lend him some money when he's short on cash, save his ass if he ever gets in trouble— and he'd do the same for me. ( Read more... )
